I was injured at a casino. Should I wait to hear from them?

Q: While at a casino, the front of the bar fell off onto my foot. I have nerve damage diagnosed by a podiatrist. I am in constant pain. Should I wait to hear from the Casino, or obtain an attorney?

Attorney Cliff Horwitz:

You are asking an attorney what you should do? How can I say it . . .

If you were fishing for sharks, would you learn from the shark in the water or have a fisherman guide you?

My answer would be the same. I strongly suggest that you get an attorney if you actually have nerve damage! Do not go to your enemy in litigation for help.
