Construction Worker Recovers $2.1 Million
We recovered $2.1 million for a construction worker who was working inside a dump truck and was knocked out of the truck by a crane.
We filed suit against the general contractor for failing to set up a system whereby a signal man would be used as part of the operation of the crane.
The defendant blamed the wind and said the load did not strike the worker. In fact, the worker broke his neck and suffers from residual difficulties throughout his body. While he can walk, he is no longer able to work in the construction trades and thus has lost considerable earning potential.
