$725,000 settlement recovered for local 1 ironworker

$725,000 settlement recovered for local 1 ironworker who was injured when he tripped over a metal plate in an alley where the CTA was working.   There were multiple defendants in the case but it appeared that Meade Electric placed the plate without securing it.  As a result, the ironworker tore his the meniscus in his knee and injured his elbow. He had surgery performed on the knee.    The ironworker has returned to his trade.
