Attorney Referrals

Based on the satisfaction of thousands of clients, record-setting jury verdicts, and peer acclaim  attorneys across the United States refer their clients, friends, and family members, who have been injured in Illinois to Horwitz, Horwitz & Associates.

Attorneys who focus their practice outside of tort law are often presented with catastrophic injury or wrongful death cases that occurred in Illinois. Frequently, these attorneys refer their cases to Horwitz, Horwitz & Associates  based on the trust they have in our law firm.

These attorneys know that we will ensure their client understands their rights; that we will protect those rights; that we will ensure their clients injures are acknowledged, and those who caused them harm will be held accountable; and finally, that their client will receive compensation to the fullest extent of the law.

If you have a client that would benefit from our representation, please call Clifford or Mitchell Horwitz at (800)-985-1819.

Our free consultations refer to attorneys as well! If you are an attorney with an injury or wrongful death case in Illinois and are unsure how to proceed – call us.

Our attorneys will determine if there is a case, and work with both you and your client to develop a plan of action that is in everyone’s best interest whether it is a referral to us, joint representation, or even co-counsel.

Catastrophic injury and wrongful death litigation is timely and expensive. These types of cases require an immense amount of resources – research, staff, experience, and money. It is not uncommon to spend $100,000 to $200,000 to prosecute a catastrophic injury case.

If you are a solo practitioner or don’t have the resources to prosecute a major injury case, do the right thing for your client and give them the resources they need to win.

We offer referral fees structured in full accordance with Article VIII, Rule 1.5 of the Supreme Court of Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct, Rule 1.5(e).

In complying with this rule and documenting client consent to the allocation of fees and responsibility between our attorneys and you, you can rest knowing that both you and your client will be taken care of.

(e) A division of fees shall be made in proportion to the services performed and responsibility assumed by each lawyer, except where the primary service performed by one lawyer is the referral of the client to another lawyer and

  1. the receiving lawyer discloses that the referring lawyer has received or will receive economic benefit from the referral and the extent and basis of such economic benefit, and
  2. the referring lawyer agrees to assume the same legal responsibility for the performance of the services in question as would a partner of the receiving lawyer.
  3. The total fee is reasonable.
