CHICAGO. October 16, 2013 – The Cook County Jury Verdict awarded Clifford Horwitz, Jay Luchsinger and Michael Carter the prestigious Trial Lawyer Excellence award at the 2013 Jury Verdict Reporter Awards Ceremony.
The JVR awards are presented annually by the Jury Verdict Reporter, a division of Law Bulletin Publishing Company, and recognize trial lawyers for their successful representation of clients.

Clifford, Jay and Michael were honored for their outstanding work involving a $64 million jury verdict on behalf of an ironworker who was left paralyzed after a fall. This was the highest recorded verdict for compensatory damages for an individual in Illinois history.
