Murphy Rodgers, 55-Year-Old Construction Worker From Swansea, Died in Shiloh Car Accident at Worksite by Air Mobility Drive and Maple Street
SHILOH, ILLINOIS (June 30, 2026) – A 55-year-old construction worker identified as Murphy Rodgers has tragically died in a Shiloh car accident by Air Mobility Drive and Maple Street.
Shiloh police officials are saying that the accident took place around 10:45 AM on Friday. Murphy Rodgers was performing some type of work at the construction site where he was hit by a vehicle.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the accident to help the injured victim. He was transported to a local area hospital to receive treatment.
Sadly, he was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Authorities are working to determine the cause of the collision through accident reconstruction.
