UPS Truck Involved in Major Bridgeview Car Accident That Left Two People Critically Injured

BRIDGEVIEW, ILLINOIS (August 27, 2026) – At least seven people were injured in a Bridgeview UPS truck accident near the intersection of 71st Street and Harlem Avenue.

Bridgeview police officials are saying that the collision occurred early Wednesday morning. A tractor-trailer truck and a work van were identified as two of the vehicles involved.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the crash to help all of the victims. Multiple people were trapped inside of the van that rolled over as a result of the collision.

In total, seven people were taken to the hospital to receive treatment. At least two of the victims were critically injured.
