Sangohe Expands Recall for Adult Portable Bed Rails Over Serious Injury Risk

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (April 19, 2026) – Sangohe has expanded its recall for its adult portable bed rails because they can pose a serious risk of injury and entrapment.

The recall was issued on April 2, 2026. Roughly 36,500 units were sold prior to the recall.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the Sangohe Adult Portable Bed Rails violate mandatory safety standards for bed rails.

Users can become trapped between the bed rail and the side of the mattress. This poses a major risk of death by asphyxiation.

Moreover, the bed rails do not have the required warning labels. No injuries have been reported at this time.

The bed rails were originally manufactured in China.
