Boy Injured In Oregon DUI Car Accident on South 5th Street

OREGON, ILLINOIS (November 1, 2022) –   A 10-year-old boy riding a bicycle was injured in an Oregon car accident with a suspected drunk driver along South 5th Street.

Oregon police officials are saying that the accident took place around 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. A 10-year-old was riding a bicycle when he was later hit by a vehicle.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the boy. He was taken to the hospital and later released.

Police arrested a 56-year-old woman on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. She was also cited for leaving the scene of the accident.
