Recall Issued for Uuoeebb Infant Walkers Due to Entrapment Hazard and Mandatory Safety Standard Violations

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (January 14, 2026) – Uuoeebb Infant Walkers have been recalled because they can pose a serious risk of injury or death due to entrapment.
Roughly 2,650 units were sold prior to the recall. The recall was issued on December 11, 2025.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the Uuoeebb Infant Walkers are able to fit through a standard doorway. They also failed to stop at the edge of a step.
This poses a serious risk that a child could be injured or killed in a fall. Moreover, the walkers have leg openings that allow a child to slip through and become entrapped. They also violate mandatory safety standards for infant walkers.
No injuries have been reported at this time. The walkers could be purchased online at Amazon.
Liability for Injuries Caused by Consumer Products
Companies that create consumer products have a legal obligation to ensure that they are reasonably safe. They must rigorously test their products and all of the ways that they will likely be used and even potentially misused. It is vital that they follow all mandatory safety guidelines, especially for products designed for young children. When a company creates an unsafe product that injures a consumer, they could be held at fault through a product liability claim. There are several elements that need to be demonstrated in any product liability claim.
- The defendant sold the product that the plaintiff used.
- The defendant was the commercial seller of the product.
- The plaintiff sustained an injury through their use of the product.
- The product was defective at the time it was sold by the defendant.
- The defect with the product was the actual approximate cause of the plaintiff’s injury.
There could be several ways that a product could be defective. For example, a product may have designed defects. Design defects are inherent to the way a product is created and exist before it is manufactured. It is also possible that a product has marketing defects. This may include instances where the product lacks clear instructions or fails to warn consumers about blatant dangers.
Steps to Take After Being Injured by Consumer Products
Many children are injured by children’s products every year. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, “An estimated 231,700 toy-related injuries for all ages were treated in U.S. hospital emergency departments in 2023, and males accounted for 57 percent of the injuries. Of the estimated 231,700 toy-related injuries, 72 percent were sustained by children 14 years of age or younger; 67 percent were sustained by children 12 years of age or younger; and 36 percent were.” Any person injured by a consumer product should take certain actions to protect their rights.
- Victims should seek medical attention as early as possible.
- Victims should preserve evidence related to the accident.
- Victims should see if the product that caused the injury was on any recall lists.
- Victims should seek the guidance of an experienced personal injury attorney.
It could be hard to know where to begin if your child has been injured by a consumer product. Many victims are left with serious injuries and high medical bills. A serious injury can alter the trajectory of a child’s life. This is why it is so important that victims seek guidance as early as possible. The family of any child injured by a walker may have legal recourse through a personal claim.
