CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (June 7, 2025) – WeHwupe Adult Portable Bed Rails have been recalled because they can pose a serious risk of injury or death to users.

The recall was issued on May 29, 2025. Approximately 94,800 units were sold prior to the recall.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the WeHwupe Adult Portable Bed Rails violated federal regulations for adult portable bed rails. In particular, they pose a serious entrapment hazard and risk of death by asphyxiation.
