William Schaub Accused of Grooming and Sexually Abusing Student

NAPERVILLE, ILLINOIS (June 2, 2025) – A LaGrange teacher at Nequa Valley High School identified as William Schaub was arrested on charges of sexual abuse and grooming.

School officials informed Naperville police that they received an anonymous tip alleging an inappropriate relationship between the defendant and a minor student. The following investigation led to the discovery of inappropriate messages between William Schaub and the student.

The defendant was then arrested during a traffic stop not far from his home. He was taken into custody and later transported to Will County Jail.

Police also claim that they found evidence of inappropriate physical contact between the teacher and student. A full investigation into the allegations against William Schaub remains ongoing at this time.

Liability for Sexual Misconduct Involving School Teachers

Sexual abuse involving school teachers remains very common.
