Gabriel M. Drury
Associate
Experiences with family and friends have helped cultivate Gabe’s deep-seated affinity for helping the injured. The son of a doctor and occupational therapist, Gabe inherited his parents’ work ethic, moral compass, and sense of duty towards the sick and injured. He started putting those traits to good use at UW-Madison.
After graduating from college in 2014, Gabe took a job as the Director of Business Development at Horwitz, Horwitz & Associates. He didn’t yet realize his aptitude for law, but during this role Gabe witnessed the vast impact that a personal injury attorney can have on injured clients.
Gabe continued to work full time for HHA while attending night school at the Chicago-Kent College of Law. He graduated magna cum laude in the top 2% of his class and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.
Gabe has now transitioned from his role in business development to being part of our team of Chicago Personal Injury lawyers.

In-Depth Look
Gabe was born in Chicago, grew up in Milwaukee, and returned to Chicago after graduating from UW-Madison.
His close college friendship with Justin Horwitz opened the door for him at the Horwitz law firm, where he excelled in his role and gained the opportunity to witness the excitement of Chicago personal injury law.
“One of the first trials I saw was a case where a carpenter developed CRPS after someone drilled through his hand on a jobsite. Another firm in Chicago told him he had no case, but Cliff, Jay, and Carter took the case, went to trial, and won a record verdict for him.”
So inspired by watching the successful outcomes for our clients, Gabe discovered his true calling and made the decision to enter law school, taking classes at night while working full-time.
“Looking back, [studying and working full-time] actually gave me a good balance for bridging the gap between the theoretical and practical side of things,” Gabe said of his experience.
Chicago is home sweet home for Gabe, his fiancé Demi, and their pug Daisy. In his free time, Gabe enjoys spending his time with Demi and Daisy, visiting family and friends, and exploring the world.
