Multiple People Injured In North Austin, Chicago CTA Bus Accident Involving Police Vehicle On North Central Avenue
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (January 4, 2022) – At least three people were injured in a North Austin, Chicago CTA bus accident involving police vehicle along North Central Avenue.
Cook County officials are saying that the accident took place Sunday morning. A car failed to yield to an officer with its lights at an intersection.
That driver then hit the squad car which then caused the police vehicle to hit a CTA bus.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help the victims. The driver that hit the police vehicle was issued a citation.
