Four People Injured In Chicago Police Car Accident on West Harrison Street

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (February 1, 2023) –  Four people were injured in a Chicago car accident between a box truck and police car along West Harrison Street.

Cook County officials are saying that the collision took place around 7:25 p.m. on Tuesday. Two police officers were going west when they were involved in a collision with a box truck going east.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision in order to help all of the victims. Both police officers were taken to the hospital.

Both people in the box truck were taken to Stroger Hospital. A full investigation into the crash on West Harrison Street remains ongoing at this time.
