Gary Bolton, 61, Injured After Tire Blowout Led to Single-Vehicle Collision Involving Decorative Rock in Woodlawn

WOODLAWN, ILLINOIS (August 21, 2026) – A driver identified as Gary Bolton was injured in a Woodlawn car accident along Route 37 north of Harris Road.

Jefferson County officials are saying that the accident occurred around 5:40 AM on Monday. Gary Bolton was driving down the road when one of the tires on his vehicle blew out.
