Kamex Employee Injured During Water Main Replacement Project in Edwardsville

EDWARDSVILLE, ILLINOIS (March 20, 2026) – A construction worker for Kamex was injured in an Edwardsville accident while working on North Main Street.
Edwardsville officials were saying that the accident took place around 10:30 AM on March 18. The Kamex employee was working on some type of water main replacement project.
He was preparing to install a valve when he was injured in some type of accident. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the accident to help the victim.
He was transported to a local area hospital to receive treatment. The severity of his injuries remains unknown at this time.
