TINLEY PARK, ILLINOIS (December 15, 2023) – A man has been critically injured in a Tinley Park shooting at the LA Fitness on Convention Drive.

Cook County officials are saying that the incident took place on Thursday night. Two men were having an argument after a basketball game.

The altercation continued into the parking lot of an LA Fitness. Police believe that one man went to his car to retrieve a gun before shooting the victim several times.

Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. He was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition.
