Cook County Officials Investigating Fatal CTA Bus Accident In Little Village, Chicago on West 26th Street

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (August 21, 2024) – One person was killed and three people were injured in a Little Village, Chicago CTA bus accident on West 26th Street.

Cook County officials are saying that the incident took place around 4:00 a.m. on Saturday. A sedan was involved in a collision with the CTA bus.

The force of the impact caused the CTA bus to crash into a building. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victims.

Four people were taken to the hospital. The driver of the sedan later died due to their injuries. A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
