Pedestrian Injured In Chicago Car Accident By Midway Airport

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (October 1, 2023) – A driver involved in some type of drag race near Midway Airport in Chicago seriously injured a pedestrian.

Cook County officials are saying that the incident took place early Sunday morning. A white 2016 Dodge Challenger Hellcat with a black hood hit a pedestrian.

The driver may have been doing donuts prior to the collision. The victim was described as a 19-year-old male. He was transported to Christ Hospital in order to receive treatment.

Video of the aftermath shows many tracks still visible after other vehicles dispersed. A full investigation into the collision remains ongoing at this time.
