Minivan Involved In Major Collision With Semi-Truck in Woodstock by McHenry Avenue and Irving Avenue

WOODSTOCK, ILLINOIS (July 27, 2026) – Three people were injured in a Woodstock semi-truck accident by the intersection of McHenry Avenue and Irving Avenue.

Woodstock police officials are saying that the incident occurred shortly before 3:30 PM on Friday afternoon. A minivan was involved in a collision with a semi-truck for undetermined reasons.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene of the crash to help all of the injured victims. The driver of the minivan was airlifted to a hospital with critical injuries.

At least one other passenger in the minivan was also injured in the crash. It remains unclear if the remaining victim was in the minivan or the semi-truck.

Police are continuing to investigate all of the circumstances that led up to the crash.
